WELCOME
TO THE AMAZING WORLD OF BIG CHURCH ALIVE
Message From Our Pastors:
God gave Pastor Ted two scriptures back when he, Georgie and a few friends,
started Big Church Alive. We feel these the foundational mandate of this
church body - EQUIP, EDIFY & GIVE OPPORTUNITY
-
Ephesians 4:11 & 12- "And He
Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists,
and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,"
I Corinthians 14:26- "Whenever you
come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue,
has a revelation, has an interpretation. Let all things be done for edification."
God has done some wonderful things in our lives over the past few years.
We have seen our church grow in numbers, knowledge, their gifts, faith,
and most of all……FREEDOM.
We have seen countless lives transformed by the power of God, and who
are now successfully helping others to succeed in life.
BUT NOW WE STAND ON THE BRINK OF AN EXTRAORDINARY
SEASON AS WE COMMENCE BUILDING THIS MINISTRY IN A MORE EFFECTIVE WAY IN
THE WAUSAU AREA.
We are committed to making Jesus Christ famous here in Central Wisconsin
through the way we "do church", i.e.: casual, loving, free,
non-judgmental and showing the Christ in our lives. We are unapologetically
Christian in both "creed & conduct" and believe that God
will continue to give us grace to:
Build
an influential church body, by building people
under one Holy Spirit lead visionary leadership,
meeting in multiple congregations, and ministering through a network
of interconnected outlets, to influence our world with the life
of Christ. |
OUR DREAM & VISION IS FOR A CHURCH BODY OF SIGNIFICANCE
We see
a church:
-filled with people
who love God, love people, love life and love themselves.
-where everyone is an active Christian, finding & fulfilling their
God given purpose in life.
-where prayer is central to every activity, plan and project.
-full of people of all ages, races and from all backgrounds.
-which loves & honors all people as God's does & seeks to
bring all people to Christ.
-that sets people free by bring them into a guilt-free relationship
with a loving God.
-as an overflowing storehouse of provision for every good work.
-where generous acts of compassion and mercy are everyday occurrences.
-where guilt-consciousness and performance-based “Religion”
does not exist.
-where all the people are trained to be leaders and ministers.
-with a web of dynamic ministry outlets where no-one is left unaffected.
-where the facilities are excellent, producing people and resources
able to impact every level of our society.
-where the Bible is preached in contemporary and life impacting ways.
-the Holy Spirit works in and through people to produce transformed
lives.
-full of Kings & Priests, living with servant’s hearts.
-that continues to grow because the people have a passion for the
cause and a priority to see God's purpose fulfilled in the lives of
people.
-being built here in Wausau, WI. that will change lives with the Gospel
of Peace and Faith-Righteousness. |
It
is the church of our dreams and it happens because we give God’s
people the training, opportunity and the freedom to manifest their gifts
and callings in doing the works of Christ..
It
is called Big Church Alive, and you and I are living the dream.
